WELCOME TO THE DOWNTOWN MARQUETTE FARMERS MARKET ONLINE MARKETPLACE!

The City of Marquette Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has launched an online marketplace for locally grown and produced food from the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market. This online platform makes it possible for farmers and local producers to work together to meet the growing demand for local, sustainable food and products in our region. Farmers and producers benefit from the marketing, selling, packaging and delivering of their products, produce and prepared foods. The marketplace makes fresh, healthy, locally grown food available to you, the buyer, to order online and pick up on Saturdays at the Marquette Commons.

WHAT'S NEW THIS WEEK?

PICK UP PROCESS FOR CUSTOMERS

Please arrive during your assigned pick-up time. Assigned times are based on last name. If someone is picking up an order on your behalf, please abide by whatever name the order was placed under. Please note, times have been revised to help facilitate a quicker customer experience (fingers crossed!):

When a customer arrives at their assigned time to the Marquette Commons, they will see the start of a “social distance line” on the plaza in front of the Commons building. While in line, customers should have their order confirmation and ID ready.

When staff is ready, they will call a customer into The Commons building to the Check In Station.

After a customer has been checked in they will need to proceed through four "product departments". A volunteer at each "department" will hand your products to you.  It will be helpful for you to familiarize yourself with your order to know which departments you will need to stop at.  This week's departments are as follows:

For those using food assistance programs, please be sure that you have enough cash to cover the entire order or the amount of the order your food assistance programs cannot. Please keep in mind the eligibility of products for certain food assistance programs. (i.e. EBT - all edible items, Double Up Food Bucks - only fresh fruits and vegetables). Please also have exact change or small bills and coins as no change will be given. For more information on food assistance programs accepted by the market and product eligibility please click here.

PRODUCERS! Are you a local farmer looking for an opportunity to reach out to our community? Register as a Producer and let us know what you are interested in selling through the Market.
